In late 2010, The Athens Group completed construction on Montage Deer Valley in the year-round resort community of Park City, Utah. The hotel has become one of North America's finest mountain resort destinations. Reminiscent of the great mountain lodges of the West, and designed by HKS/Hill Glazier Studio, this refined Mountain Craftsman resort is less than five minutes from Park City's celebrated Main Street. Each of the 128 spacious guestrooms and 46 suites at Montage Deer Valley features a fireplace, private balcony or patio, and lavish bathrooms. Spa Montage is a 35,000- square-foot alpine oasis that includes club-style relaxation and locker areas with separate men's and women's steam rooms and saunas, an indoor lap pool and private sundeck, a fitness center, and 29 treatment rooms providing an extensive array of signature therapies. Montage Deer Valley was designed, constructed, and operated in accordance with environmentally responsible green features that minimize the resort's environmental footprint in accordance with established LEED principles. The project is LEED Silver certified and has been designated as the country's first pilot project for the Environmental Protection Agency's ER3 (Environmentally Responsible Redevelopment and Reuse) initiative.
