In 2024, The Athens Group completed construction of Asher Adams, an Autograph Collection Hotel. Asher Adams is an adaptive re-use hotel development in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah brought to life through the conversion of one of the city’s most iconic architectural structures, the historic Union Pacific Depot, and new construction of an attached 8-story guestroom structure. The hotel features 225 guestrooms, including 13 specialty suites located within the historic train station, and complemented by 4 unique, high-touch food and beverage outlets and 8,400 SF of meeting space. The site, located in a Qualified Opportunity Zone, is adjacent to The Gateway mixed-use commercial center which is centrally located within walking distance of the Delta Center (home of the NBA’s Utah Jazz and the NHL's Utah Hockey Club), Salt Palace Convention Center, Temple Square, and several other popular downtown attractions. It is also located along the TRAX light rail providing quick and convenient access to Salt Lake International Airport and the central business district. Asher Adams joined Marriott International’s Autograph Collection of hotels and is the first of its kind in Salt Lake City.
